with proper medications, regular checkup & healthy lifestyle, even severe heart disease
patients can survive for many years with good quality, active life, without surgery or
angioplasty.

Mr. A.L. Thomas, 61 years, hypertensive male, underwent
coronary balloon angioplasty in 2002 after a heart attack. He developed angina again with new
blockages and underwent another angioplasty in 2005, June. He also had one episode of transient
stroke (paralysis) in 1998. After second angioplasty, within few weeks, he started getting angina
again. At this stage he enrolled in Cardio Uno’s cardiac rehabilitation & prevention
program. With proper medicines, supervised exercise program, diet & yoga, Mr. A.L. Thomas is
completely a symptomatic & exceptionally fit person. At 61 years he does 30 min treadmill at 6
